Our purpose
Why we exist.
We provide professional lead (Pb) and radon consulting and inspection services to help clients identify, assess, and address potential environmental hazards in residential and commercial properties.
Our goal is to provide accurate, reliable, and timely inspection and testing services while helping clients better understand their property's environmental conditions and any steps that may be necessary to address concerns.
In practice that means two things. First, that the measurement is done correctly. Second, and just as important, that you come away understanding what the number means, without needing a degree in environmental health to interpret it.
Independence
Inspection only. No exceptions.
We do not perform radon mitigation, lead abatement, or renovation work, and we do not take referral commissions from the contractors you might go on to hire.
That doesn't mean leaving you on your own. For lead abatement we can recommend contractors we work with, and for radon we'll help you identify an IEMA-licensed mitigation professional. In both cases you contract with them directly.
That separation is deliberate. It is the difference between a result that informs you and a result that sells you something.
